There seems to be one trend in the snack world and it’s definitely not more salt and vinegar-based chips. It’s mouth-achingly, potentially heartburn-causing, ridiculously hot heat. For some reason, snackers can’t seem to get enough supremely hot snacks. While “Flamin’ Hot” snacks have taken up most of the headlines, Pringles is joining forces with a popular internet show to create some of the spiciest snacks of all time.
Pringles already had a hot flavor called Scorchin’, but now it’s collaborating with First We Feast’s internet show Hot Ones to launch its new limited-edition Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones lineup of flavors. For those unaware, Hot Ones is a show where host Sean Evans interviews celebrities while they are given increasingly hot chicken wings to eat. Obviously, hilarity ensues.
“Our partnership with Hot Ones is a match made in spicy heaven, so we’re thrilled to collaborate with the show known to test your limits with hot questions and even hotter wing sauce,” Mauricio Jenkins, senior director of marketing for Pringles said in a press release. “We challenged ourselves to perfectly match the fiery burn of Hot Ones wing sauce to create our spiciest flavors yet. The debut of the Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones lineup will have fans sweating just like their favorite celeb guests on the show.”
Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones are available in three flavors. They are Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones The Classic Hot Sauce (classic hot sauce flavor with a peppery kick), Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo (applewood smoked red jalapenos and habaneros), and Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde (smoky serrano and habanero as well as tart tomatillo).
But that’s not all. There’s also the Last Dab-ified Pringles. While not available for purchase, this can of Pringles with even more heat is available to 400 heat fans. To get yours, you need to enter their how Us Your Hotness Sweepstakes by scanning the QR code on Pringles Scorchin’ x Hot Ones products and following the prompts.
Sadly, if you just want to eat all three flavors, you’ll have to travel around to get them. While Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde are available at various retailers in June, Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo are only available at Walmart in June, and Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones The Classic Hot Sauce are only available at Circle K in July.
