Guys Behind ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Launch Whiskey Brand (Hilarious Punchlines Not Included)

If you somehow haven’t been paying attention, you might not realize that the gang from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been creating chaos and acting horribly for 15 seasons. That’s right, this bar-centered show featuring Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Dee, and Frank has been on the air since 2005. It only made sense that cast members from a show that so heavily features a bar would inevitably launch a whiskey. Well, that’s exactly what happened and since the gang considers a bar called Paddy’s Pub home, it only made sense that it would be an Irish whiskey.

While it’s not the whole gang, it is most of the core group. Four Walls Whiskey was recently launched by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton. The whiskey’s name is a reference to the “four walls” the group calls home, the aforementioned Irish pub.

And, in true Always Sunny fashion, the gang couldn’t just settle for one whiskey. They’re releasing two unique, flavorful whiskeys instead. The first is a single-barrel, cask-strength Irish whiskey that was matured for at least 15 years. This limited-edition whiskey will only be released in a run of 755 bottles. It was crafted to pay homage to the historic 15th season of this popular television show.

The second whiskey is a blend of hand-picked barrels of grain and malt Irish whiskeys mixed with Pennsylvania straight rye whiskey. Each whiskey was aged for a minimum of five years. This limited-edition whiskey only has a run of 2,500 bottles.

The best part? While you’re enjoying whiskey from your favorite Always Sunny actors, you can be even happier that you’re doing something to help. That’s because all of the proceeds of these whiskeys are going to help the bartending community. We can’t think of a better whiskey to drink while you binge-watch all 15 seasons of Always Sunny this summer.
