The spring summer collection of J.W. Anderson was reminiscent of childhood’s innocence. The designs were fun and youthful, and so were the clean-shaven models. His use of a colorful palate, which included teal, orange, red, and yellow, indulged the audience with a feeling of euphoria.
Floral patterns, knitted dog sweaters, and paint stroke designs were embedded in the collection. Even an applique of art supplies was included in a sweater. The consistent portion of the show was seen in the loose-fitted trousers; sashes occasionally decorated the waistband.

Additional pieces that sparked viewer’s interests were the buckled shoes (featured in patent leather red/black/silver), bags made from metal frames, and extremely tightly fitted leather jackets. The one outfit that seemed to show that kids have to grow up is the double-breasted black suit.
All though a child may have dreamed these designs, the pieces alone were remarkable. They show creativity and twists on essentials like ponchos, sports shirts, and knitwear. A man who is far from ordinary will find his place in this collection.
