Mexican designer Ricardo Seco presented a daring new collection that captured the heart of the crowd on Day 3 of New York Fashion Week: Men’s, with audacious color choices and defining patterns. The frenzy forced viewers to elbow their way to the front of the presentation to capture the refined details first hand.
The hot colored fur collars, graphically patterned shawls and capes, along with his stand alone sweater bearing a cheeky cartoon of a mouse wearing a sombrero (from his partnership with Disney) highlighted his native country’s influence and the designers sharp attention to fine detail.

The creations are designed with both men and women in mind. Showy wrapped belts, bold sunglasses and fur collars seduced us all with his south of the border charm. The crisp graphic patterns and popping hues of his breakout furs reigned supreme. Each individual piece stood alone with thoughtful refined lines. It once again proves that this self-taught designer has executed to the nines and will continue to delight and surprise.
