Benedict Cumberbatch was late arriving to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge party, but he’s more than made up for it now.
After accepting Tom Hiddlestone’s challenge to him after the given 24 hour time frame, Cumberbatch has been punished with several ice buckets, all in the name of charity.
In the above video, the Sherlock actor desperately tries to escape from the looming threat of the ice bucket time and time again, but he always succumbs to his watery doom. After taking the challenge, Cumberbatch nominated Harvey Weinstein, Lewis Hamilton and Kylie Minogue to take part.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge continues to do a huge amount of good for ALS awareness and donations, with millions of dollars having already been raised. There are a number of people who are complaining that this challenge is “getting boring,” but as long as it continues to do huge amounts of good for people who suffer with the motor neuron disease, we’ll keep reporting on it.
