Would an election day in Australia even really be an election day without a sausage sanger to reward voters after (or before) they’ve polled?
No. It wouldn’t.

The Election Sausage Sizzle has been going since 2010, and its website, otherwise known as #snagvotes – has your standard map, sizzle history, and the ability for users to rate their own sizzles.
Another website called Democracy Sausage has taken things even further; and on it you can submit the level of deliciousness by tweeting the #democracysausage. Not only that, but you can also check out the site’s sausage analytics or ‘Sausagelytics’ in which it will once and for all determine which sizzle is the best, and which is the wurst.
