Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival has shed a much-deserved spotlight (or maybe blacklight is more appropriate) back on David Lynch, the Renaissance Man of Mystery whose influences stretch across film, art and music.

What better way to celebrate all things “Lynchian” than the second edition of the Festival of Disruption, which allows fans to explore the unique world of Lynch through music, art, film and performance.
Curated entirely by the visionary auteur filmmaker/artist, the Festival of Disruption will return to the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown LA on October 14th and 15th. Check out the Festival of Disruption recap from 2016 below.
This year’s unique lineup of musical and artistic performances include Bon Iver (doing a rare Justin Vernon solo set), TV On The Radio, The Kills, and Sharon van Etten as well as DJ sets by Moby and street artist Shepard Fairey.
There will also be art exhibits by William Eggleston and David Lynch, meditation sessions, film screenings and talks by Kristine McKenna with Ed Ruscha, Bill Pullman, Sheryl Lee, Pete Holmes and Twin Peaks collaborators: Duwayne Dunham, Dean Hurley, Johanna Ray and Gary D’Amico.
Tickets are now on sale in all markets via the festival website and AXS ticketing. Proceeds from the festival benefit the David Lynch Foundation, whose mission is reducing toxic stress and trauma among at-risk populations, including victims of domestic violence, veterans suffering from PTSD, and underserved urban youth, through the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation technique.
The David Lynch Foundation has reached more than 500,000 people since founding in 2005. For additional information on the work of the Foundation, or to subscribe for news about its programs and events, visit www.davidlynchfoundation.org
