While you and I are currently working away and trying to survive another workday, let me tell you a quick story about an 18-year-old who now will have to worry less about money for the rest of her life.
According to UPI, a Canadian woman decided that for her 18th birthday she was going to buy her first-ever lottery ticket. So Charlie Lagarde stopped by a store on her birthday for the lottery ticket and some wine. And well, she won.
Lagarde bought a Loto Quebec Gagnant a vie, which translates to “Winner for Life,” ticket and quickly learned that she had won $1,000 a week for the rest of her life. And that would be about $775 in American dollars. And that’s definitely nothing to sneeze at.
So what will Lagarde be doing with her cash? Well she wants to travel and reach her goals.
“I want to study photography. One of my dreams would be to work for National Geographic,” Lagarde said.

Well, we always enjoys hearing stories of folks who unexpectedly win some cash. And sure, I’ll bury my face into my pillow after work and yell into it until I lose my voice, but afterwards I will continue to be happy for Lagarde and her new winnings.
