Fresh off showings on the film festival circuit at the Toronto International Film Festival and last weekend at L.A.’s AFI Fest, the star-studded black comedy August: Osage County is set to hit theaters nationwide this Christmas. But you can ask questions of August producer George Clooney and members of the film’s amazing cast tonight online.
A live interactive Q&A session for August: Osage County happens in Los Angeles Monday at 8 p.m. PST (11 p.m. EST) with fans worldwide getting a chance to join in the fun on the Internet.
Producer Clooney along with cast members Julia Roberts, Julianne Nicholson, Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale, Chris Cooper and Dermot Mulroney will field fan questions on the pitch-dark family saga based on Tracy Letts’ Tony Award-winning play. The film also stars Meryl Streep, Ewan McGregor, Abigail Breslin, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sam Shepard.
The film follows a tumultuous week in the Weston family home in Osage County, Oklahoma as Violet (Streep), her daughters Barbara (Roberts) and Karen (Lewis) and their extended family and friends gather for the funeral of patriarch Beverly Weston (Shepard). Suffice it to say, things don’t go well.
You can watch the entire Q&A session via The Weinstein Company’s Facebook page.
