Yeah, we were all pretty annoyed too when Ubisoft announced last October that Watch Dogs wouldn’t hit its November release date and would instead get pushed to spring 2014.
Well, looks like your mandatory patience is going to pay off now that Crave gaming site Destructoid is reporting the six-month delay gave developers time to create even more game content.
As originally uncovered by Kotaku Australia, Ubisoft confirmed new material was added to the game following a classification of Watch Dogs’ rating by Australia’s own gaming watch dogs.
The addition of some implied sexual violence and human trafficking in the new content brought the whole situation to light — but now we know Ubisoft wasn’t just sitting around twiddling their thumbs during the delay.
