Now THAT’S what we’re talking about. After a disappointing initial clip from Brett Ratner’s Hercules, the new TV spot that debuted at last night’s MTV Movie Awards finally sees Dwayne Johnson in action as the mythical hero, fighting lions, hydras and boars… oh my, that’s much better. We still have our reservations (it’s Brett Ratner after all), but at least this Hercules – unlike January’s The Legend of Hercules – seems committed to giving audiences what they want out of a big budget action movie based on a Greek legend.
Will Hercules fulfill this TV spot’s promises? We’ll find out when it hits theaters on July 25, 2014.
