December 17th is the day, according to Konami, that Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots will be receiving a full 30GB digital release on the PlayStation Network.
Unfortunately, it’ll only be for PlayStation 3.
Considered by many to be one of the defining games of the seventh generation of consoles, 2008’s Guns of the Patriots was part high-quality CG film and part high-caliber stealth espionage. The two elements came together to form a perfect storm of interactive brilliance that will likely continue to stand the test of time and remain in the hearts of MGS fans forever.
