In Review: Paris Photo L.A. at Paramount Studios

Paris Photo L.A., held annually each Spring, opened its doors this weekend to surging crowds of art buyers and visual arts fans interested in perusing the 79 galleries that temporarily set up shop on the Manhattan-themed back lot of Paramount Pictures Studios. Thousands of people attended to view some of the world’s most interesting photography, ranging from works by renowned photographers, such as Helmut Newton and Juergen Teller, to previously unseen photographs surfaced from the dusty archives of R.J. Arnold.  Aided by beautiful SoCal weather, food truck cuisine, and specialty cocktails provided at numerous bars, the Fair once again provided an engaging, highly social setting for discovering and rediscovering important 20th and 21st century artists using photography to powerful effect.
