With the year almost coming to an end, Spotify recently dropped its highly awaited Wrapped 2024 list. Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter dominated the streaming platform this year. On December 4, Spotify posted the Wrapped list on Instagram, with Swift taking the No. 1 spot in the list of Top 10 Artists Globally. On the other hand, Sabrina Carpenter became the frontrunner in the Top 10 Songs Globally list with her summer song “Espresso.”
Taylor Swift is Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2024
With the release of the 2024 Spotify Wrapped list, fans can now see how their favorite artists performed this year on the streaming platform. Swifties can have the biggest celebration as Taylor Swift took the crown of the most-streamed artist globally, meaning she has secured her top spot on Spotify’s 10 Ten Artists Globally list. However, that’s not all. The singer’s most recent album, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,” also received the No. 1 spot in the streaming service’s list of Top 10 Albums Globally.
Apart from ”The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,” two other albums by Swift also made it to the Top 10 Albums Globally list — “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” in the 6th and “Lover” in the 8th. Moreover, her song “Cruel Summer” received the 9th spot on the Top 10 Songs Globally list of Spotify. Quite evidently, the singer-songwriter dominated the platform and Swifties’ hearts in 2024.
Another singer who also ruled this year’s Spotify Wrapped list is Sabrina Carpenter. Her song “Espresso” took the first spot in the Top 10 Songs Globally lost. Not only that, the artist’s latest album, “Short n’ Sweet” also got the 3rd spot in Spotify’s Top 10 Albums Globally list.
Besides Carpenter, another artist who made a huge impact on the 2024 Wrapped list of the streaming platform is Billie Eilish. In the Top 10 Artists Globally list, she secured the 5th spot. In the Top 10 Albums Globally list, Eilish’s album “Hit Me Hard and Soft” ranked second, while her song “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” landed the 3rd spot in the Top 10 Songs Globally.
