Cher’s Mansion Unharmed in New Malibu Fire Photos — Report

Cher’s mansion fortunately remains unharmed amid the raging Malibu fire. The wildfires, also known as the Franklin Fire, wreaked havoc in the coastal region. According to an exclusive report from the New York Post, Cher and Dick Van Dyke’s mansions stood strong. The publication also shared photos of the mansion, which was safe, unlike several other properties around the house that fell victim to the brush fire.

Cher’s home was not affected by the raging Malibu fire

The New York Post exclusively confirmed that Cher’s Malibu mansion was unscathed amid the Franklin Fire, which has affected areas of the coastal neighborhood. It is evident from the photos shared by the publication that the wildfire did not impact the singer’s home. However, many of her neighbors’ properties did not have such luck.

According to the outlet, the wildfires burned the land opposite her mansion on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Furthermore, a small fire also broke out next to her property, but her mansion remained untouched. This was also the case with actor Dick Van Dyke’s house, which didn’t suffer any damages.

Cher was one of the many Malibu residents to leave their homes as the wildfires spread across Southern California. The singer’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed to the NY Post that she had left her home with her pets. Cher had reportedly taken shelter at a hotel.

Meanwhile, Dyke also left his mansion with his wife, Arlene Silver, and pets, but the actor soon revealed that his pet cat, Bobo, escaped and went missing. On Thursday, he gave an update on Facebook, stating that they found the feline with the help of animal control officers.

According to NBC Los Angeles, the Franklin Fire in Malibu has scorched more than 4,000 acres. As of Thursday, the containment stood at 7%, with firefighters working tirelessly to rescue people. Officials are yet to determine the cause of the fire, which began on Monday in the Malibu Canyon tunnel area.
