Stanley Kubrick is set to be honored at Somerset House in London later this year with a unique exhibition of works inspired by Kubrick.
The exhibition, titled Daydreaming With Stanley Kubrick, will showcase work from a huge list of collaborators from the worlds of art, music and culture – including work by Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk.
Other creatives set to feature include Pulp Frontman Javis Crocker, plus Carl Craig, Beth Orton, Doug Aitken, and Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.
Each contributor will “provide a new or existing work inspired by Kubrick, responding to a film, scene, character or theme from the Kubrick archives, or even the man himself,” reports Creative Boom. “Together they will bring new perspectives on the cinematic master’s life and work.”
The exhibition runs from July 6th through to August 24th. For more information check out the official website here.
