After last season’s stunning betrayal, the crew of the Raza is free once again on Syfy’s Dark Matter. And one of their first stops was Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA!

During Comic-Con, CraveOnline caught up with two of Dark Matter‘s leading men: Anthony Lemke and Alex Mallari Jr.; both of whom teased the remaining episodes of the second season while dropping a few hints about what’s in store for Three and Four.

If you’re not familiar with Dark Matter, here’s the short version. It’s loosely based on a comic book series by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie. The show focuses on the mercenary crew of the Raza, who awaken to find themselves without any memories of their past. Without the benefit of knowing their names, the crew assumed the numbers in which they were awakened. Lemke plays Three, the a**hole of the group who has proven to be more than he seemed. His character’s real name is Marcus Boone, and this season will explore more of his backstory.

As for Mallari, he portrays Four, the man formerly known as Ryo Tetsuda, the prince of an interstellar empire who was disgraced and framed by his step-mother. Four is also the most formidable warrior on the Raza, and perhaps the person most tempted by the idea of becoming the man he used to be.

At Comic-Con, we also spoke with three of the show’s leading ladies: Melissa O’Neil (Two), Jodelle Ferland (Five), and Melanie Liburd (Nyx); as well as executive producer Jay Firestone, which you can see here. Dark Matter season 2 will continue this Friday, July 29 on Syfy.
