RUFUS DU SOL is in the dance music business and business has been good in 2016. With spotlight stealing shows at this year’s Coachella and Lollapalooza the Australian electro-dance trio has broken out, big-time with their sultry, endless summer sing-alongs and a live show that’s actually live.
Now, they’re doubling down with the success of their sophomore album Bloom, which has already secured a spot on my albums of the year with their second North American tour of 2016 with stops in New York, Boston, Seattle, Portland, and Toronto. They start it off in the LA area this weekend with a free show today at the Santa Monica Pier for the Twilight Concert Series and a headlining gig at this weekend’s wet hot Splash House in Palm Springs.
