Last season on From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Seth and Richie Gecko defeated their enemies and seized control of their destinies. This season? Not so much. Even if Kate Fuller wasn’t possessed by the ancient being known as Amaru, the Geckos would already be hard pressed to keep the chaos at bay!
To help new and returning fans get up to speed on the new season of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, El Rey Network has passed along an exclusive video that features Robert Rodriguez and showrunner Carlos Coto offering a primer on this year’s new characters. First up is Brasa (Maurice Compte) the sun god and Amaru’s “Rasputin” who may be even more deadly than he seems. He’s followed by Ana de la Reguera’s Lord Venganza Verdugo and Emily Rios’ Ximena Vasconcelos, two characters who are firmly tied to each other.
Last and definitely not least is Burt, as played by the iconic Tom Savini. Just as Burt is a monster hunter who can give the Geckos a run for their money, Savini is a very talented actor, director, make-up artist, and stunt man. And it’s not a coincidence that Burt’s part on the series calls back to Savini’s long history in the Entertainment business.
