This season on From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, the assumption has been that the Gecko brothers and their newfound allies will eventually purge Amaru from Kate’s body and rescue her soul. But what if Kate doesn’t want to be saved?
Last Tuesday’s episode led to the disastrous attempt to exorcise Amaru, and it brought out glimpses of Kate…who doesn’t exactly have forgiveness in her heart for the Geckos. And honestly, can you blame her? Assuming that things were what they appeared to be, Kate has every reason to hate the Geckos. They destroyed her life and indirectly led to the death of her father, the transformation of her brother, and even Kate’s own demise. There’s really not much for Kate to come back to, even if she does get free from Amaru. Speaking of which, Amaru now has Freddie’s wife and daughter, which doesn’t seem likely to end well for them or Freddie.
