Pep Guardiola has only just begun his Premier League tenure with Manchester City, yet he’s already facing absurd expectations from fans and press alike. Now the manager has come up against his most ludicrous question yet, when he was asked following his club’s 4-0 trouncing of Bournemouth whether or not he believes that Man City can go on to win four trophies this season.
Guardiola replied to this absurd line of questioning with an understandable “what the f***” before snapping the room back into reality, saying: “Manchester City have arrived once in the semi-finals of the Champions League, so when the people believe I’m going to win the Champions League because I’m a really good coach… I don’t think so guys.
He added: “My happiness does not depend on whether we’re going to win all the titles or not. My target now is to be happy today, drink a little bit of wine and tomorrow prepare for the game.”
He continued: “Of course I’m going to win our next … League Cup match, there is no doubt, and after that, we’re going to have to see.”

Manchester City will next play Swansea in the third round of the Football League Cup on Wednesday.
