Shia LaBeouf is currently shooting a movie in which he portrays tennis legend John McEnroe. But there probably won’t need be too much press promoting the film. The pictures alone speak volumes.
We haven’t seen LaBeouf in his curly locks since his early Disney acting days on Even Stevens. But playing big Mac means going retro.
Oh yeah. Sexy stuff.
Here’s another shot. This time LaBeouf is in action.
McEnroe, infamously known for his on-court tantrums, was also one of the greatest tennis players of all-time, winning seven grand slams, three at Wimbledon. If LaBeouf wants to give an Oscar-worthy performance, he need not only look the part, but play it too.
Which mean … we need to see this!

McEnroe vs. Borg, set to release next year, centers on the classic 1980 Wimbledon final, arguably the best tennis match of all-time. Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason will act as Bjorn Borg.
