There’s a new hero in Gotham City…except she’s not a hero at all! Mother Panic isn’t one of Batman’s next generation of caped crusaders, and she’s certainly not his ally. As far as she’s concerned, the Batman is irrelevant. The only thing that matters to Mother Panic is avenging herself and her mother.
She may not admire Bruce Wayne’s alter ego, but Violet Page certainly seems like she’s got a few similar tricks. For starters, Violet is using her own celebrity status as a socialite to invisibly move among her enemies out in the open. No one suspects that Violet may be one of the most legitimately dangerous individuals in the city, and she doesn’t hold back.

Writer Jody Houser and artist Tommy Lee Edwards are the primary creative team for Mother Panic #2, which is a part of DC Comics’ Young Animal line of comics overseen by Gerard Way. Here’s DC’s description for the newest issue.
“Mother Panic is on the hunt, which means Violet Paige is out on the town, making a splash among Gotham City’s elite. But what role do missing kids play in her thirst for vengeance? And what does her target have to do with the mysterious death of her father?”
Mother Panic # 2 will be released on Wednesday, December 28 in comic stores everywhere.
