The holiday season is almost over, and it just wouldn’t be complete without a preview of Marvel’s jolly man in a red suit: Deadpool!
Writer Joshua Corin and artist Todd Nauck have united for Deadpool: Too Soon?, a digital first comic that is coming to a conclusion in print next week. And in true holiday spirit, Deadpool’s plan to create the ultimate Christmas card photo with the Punisher, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Ant-Man, Howard the Duck, Spider-Ham, Forbush Man, and Squirrel Girl has gone off the rails. Somebody murdered Forbush Man, and then successfully killed off Rocket, Groot, and Ant-Man ahead of their Marvel Cinematic Universe sequels. That’s how we know they won’t stay dead! Can’t say the same for ol’ Buckethead, since barely anyone remembers who Forbush Man is!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Deadpool: Too Soon? # 4, Deadpool finds himself confronted by Squirrelpool, a bizarre half-Deadpool, half-Squirrel Girl creature that thinks Wade Wilson and Squirrel Girl are his parents! And Squirrelpool seems to have a bit of a Parent Trap in mind of Marvel’s unlikely comedic heroes. But first, how about a little father and son bonding between Deadpool and his newfound son?
