For as long as the Inhumans have appeared in Marvel’s comic book universe, Maximus the Mad has been their most frequent nemesis. King Black Bolt’s brother has never received his due, at least in his own mind. But now, in the pages of Uncanny Inhumans, Maximus is free to strike at his enemies. But in the war between the Inhumans and the X-Men, will Maximus be the savior his people desperately need? Of course not! Remember, he’s Maximus the Mad. His only true loyalty is to himself.
Maximus was most recently spotted breaking the Unspoken and Lineage out of the Inhumans’ prison for his own purposes. In CraveOnline’s first look at Uncanny Inhumans # 18, we see that Maximus is less than impressed by his two would-be allies. And it appears that Maximus’ talent for mind control has only gotten stronger.
