What in the hell did this guy do in his life to actually get hit by a flying tire?
Let me first start off by saying that this dude somehow survived, but boy, I honestly don’t know how he’s still breathing after this brutal shot.
Now we’ve seen people nearly miss a date with death, like in the case of the college student who dodged out of the way of a falling ceiling, and like the guy who was almost cut in half by a falling window. And we can add 50-year-old Roberto Carlos Fernandes to that list, because this man survived a brutal accident.
Fernandes and his daughter Caroline where walking around when out of nowhere a tire crashed into Fernandes’ head and sends him straight down into the concrete where he’s knocked out cold. Check out the footage below caught by CCTV.
Nice to see people rush to his aid, because he obviously needed it. According to local journalist Gil Souza, the runaway tire is believed to have come from a moving vehicle carrying a trailer with loose form axles on the back of it.
Fernandes was left with severe fractures to his skull and his chest, but is currently in a stable condition at Hospital Marcio Cunha.
Caroline had this to say about her father’s accident: “We were coming home when I heard a horn and looked, but I did not see anything. Suddenly, the horn became louder and, when I noticed it, the wheel was already on top of my father.”
Well, we are just glad this dude is alive.
