Academy award winning director Ang Lee has always been a director who defies expectations and his latest movie Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk sees the celebrated film-maker actually creating cinema history.
The immersive and thought-provoking action drama tells the story of a soldier returning home from Iraq after combat and coming to grips with being lauded by civilians.
The film also breaks new technical ground. Shot at 120 frames per second in 3D and at 4K resolution, Billy Lynn has more than four times the amount of visual information on-screen than your standard Hollywood flick.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Ang Lee wielded the power of technology to make movie history with Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk is out on Wednesday 1st March on 4K Ultra HD, 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital via Universal Sony Home Entertainment.
