Imagine if all of the heroes and villains of Valiant Comics went to the same high school. That’s the premise behind Valiant High, the recently launched digital comic book series that re-envisions Faith, Archer & Armstrong, the Death-Defying Dr. Mirage, the Eternal Warrior, Toyo Harada, Kris Hathaway, Peter Stanchek, Quantum and Woody, and more in a brand new setting that certainly seems to be inspired by a certain long-running teenage comic book.
Valiant High # 2 was released today via comiXology Originals, but CraveOnline is proud to exclusively premiere the first look at Valiant High # 3, which features Amanda/Livewire as she desperately searches for her friend. Meanwhile, Armstrong reveals how he and his brother came to be students at the school, while expressing disbelief about a threat that could come back for them all.

This issue was written by Daniel Kibblesmith (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), with art by Derek Charm (Jughead) and David Baron (Bloodshot Reborn). David Lafuente (Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man) is the cover artist. Here’s the description for issue # 3 from Valiant Comics.
“Mysteries revealed! Who is the enigmatic ‘Eternal Sophomore’ and what’s his connection with the creepy janitor? And why does Armstrong not seem to like the Sophomore? Colin King and Pete Stanchek are on the case! But more trouble is brewing outside of social circles in Valiant High – an evil, long since forgotten, is about to rear its ugly head – and it’s up to the students of Valiant High to stop it!”
Valiant High # 3 is a part of the comiXology Originals line; which is exclusively available only on comiXology and Kindle. It will be released on April 26, and it will also be available as part of the comiXology Unlimited subscription service at launch.
