Being called the Australian Bon Iver is quite the compliment, but at the end of day or in this case song, Oliver Tank is a musician on his own path with a familiar, yet fresh sound to call his own. Crave is exclusively premiering the Sydney artist’s latest single “Charlene”.
The electronic-textured song lays out a brooding landscape of heartfelt melodies that get lost in a hazy, digital soundscape where vocals float off into the sunset. It’s both cold and heartfelt. A bit James Blake. A bit Bonobo. All Oliver Tank.
