You wouldn’t expect to hear a Bruno Mars song at a Radiohead concert, but that’s exactly what happened last night in Miami. The velvety voice of the “24 K Magic” singer interrupted the veteran English rockers as they were about to launch into crowd-favorite “Climbing Up the Walls”.

It was more of a technical gaffe than an act of the pop music gods as part of Radiohead’s live show features them hacking into live radio broadcasts to create a conspiratory mis-en-scene for one of their politically-charged songs such as “National Anthem”.
Frontman Thom Yorke seemed to be more surprised than the fans, but team Radiohead recovered quickly cutting Mars’ off after only a few bars (I do the same when I hear him on the radio). Mistakes are a given considering that this was the kick-off show to Radiohead’s upcoming US tour.
