Exclusive Preview | ‘Hellboy and the BPRD 1954: Ghost Moon’ # 2

Hellboy may be dead, but that’s never stopped him from having an adventure before! And while Mike Mignola gave his signature character an ending in last year’s final issue of Hellboy in Hell, there are still plenty of chapters in Hellboy’s life that are worth exploring.

Mignola and his co-writer, Chris Roberson, have reunited for Hellboy and the BPRD 1954: Ghost Moon, a new miniseries that takes place during some of the earliest days of Hellboy’s tenure with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. In time, Hellboy went on to become the world’s greatest paranormal investigator…but we aren’t there yet!

For this adventure, Hellboy and the BPRD have been summoned to the Walled City of Hong Kong at the personal request of an old friend of Professor Bruttenholm, Hellboy’s adopted father. Unfortunately for Hellboy, there’s a pair of Chinese demons waiting for him, and they may be more than he can handle at this stage in his career.

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from Hellboy and the BPRD 1954: Ghost Moon # 2, Hellboy has his hands full with the demons as another adversary grows even more powerful.
