The Trailer for ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Goes American

Matthew Vaughn’s violent, foul-mouthed but nevertheless very proper British superspy movie Kingsman: The Secret Service finally gets the sequel its fans have been clamoring for, and it looks like this time it’s also got cowboys. Finally?

Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars Taron Egerton and Mark Strong as bespoke spies for a secret organization called “Kingsman” who discover a rival American organization called “Statesmen,” which appears to have recruited the likes of Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges. I guess you can’t accuse these Kingsman movies of only reducing one country to its pop culture stereotypes. James Bond is about to meet, fight and team up with John Wayne, and if this first preview is an indication (which is, of course, hardly a guarantee) that might be a lot of fun.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle arrives in theaters on September 22, 2017!
