Star Wars, the greatest saga in the history of sagas, is great. You know what else is great? The fact that John Boyega, the actor who plays Finn in The Force Awakens and the upcoming The Last Jedi, has fun with fans.
At the recent Star Wars Celebration that took place in Florida a couple weeks ago, Boyega teamed up with UNICEF and Starlight Children’s Foundation to raise money for those charities. In doing so, he took the opportunity to surprise some unsuspecting fans who thought they were simply taking photos in their themed outfits. Instead, they got surprised when Boyega photobombed a number of them.

As you can see from the video, the reactions are priceless.
I mean, tell me your heart didn’t melt when this dude turned around and became a hugger.
And then there was this guy, whose costume was on point, as was his reaction to Boyega popping out from behind a stormtrooper to say, “OH MY GOSH.”
Mastering the art of the photobomb is something that takes years of ninja training. Judging by Boyega’s excellent dabbing technique here, it’s obvious his training has taken him to the level of Jedi Master. Just go with it.
It didn’t look like everyone was a fan of the photobomb, though. The girl dressed as Rey looked straight up frightened that someone snuck up behind her and yelled, “STAR WARRRRRS!” Awkward.
But it was all in good fun. So the best you can do is look back on the situation, roll your eyes and realize, hey, it’s just Finn having fun.
