Imagine you’re minding your own business, taking a nice walk through a meadow and enjoying the sunshine. It’s a magnificent day, the weather is perfect, and there’s nothing you can think of that can ruin a moment of your experience.
But then it happens. Someone comes along to screw up your plans and pick a fight. You don’t back down because, hey, no one’s going to stop you from enjoying the fresh air. You remember all your MMA training that you learned from watching countless YouTube videos. You set your feet, square up, and prepare yourself for a round of fisticuffs.
It’s at this moment that you realize you’re about to fight an ostrich, and nothing makes sense anymore.

Yeah, you read that right. That’s basically what happened with the guy in this video when he got beaten up by an ostrich for God knows what reason.
The South African man, identified by the Daily Mail as Tienie Van Wyk, grew up on an ostrich farm and explained that you have to stay face with the bird if they’re pissed off. Otherwise, it’s pretty dangerous if you don’t.
“Thankfully I immobilized the bird by grabbing its neck and legs, before it could do anymore damage,” he said.
Immobilized the bird? Seems like he immobilized you, bruh. But hey, what do I know? You’re the ostrich farmer, after all.
