‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Bots Take on Netflix In New Videos

Last month, Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return debuted on Netflix, and we’re eagerly awaiting word on when or if the series will return for another season. But if we had to guess, we’d say that signs point towards a renewal. After all, would Netflix still be pushing the show if it had no future plans for it?

Via our sister site, ComingSoon.net, Netflix has released a new series of comedic short videos that takes MST3K‘s Tom Servo and Crow off  the Satellite of Love and down to the Netflix offices. And while we feel that Netflix does have a lot of good shows, the bots immediately took aim at some of the lesser fare on the streaming service.

Suddenly, we want a T-shirt that says “You just got Narco-ed!” And in the next video, the bots discovered the joys of YouTube comments.

In the third video, the bots corner Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and pitch on a few ideas for Netflix original series. It should be noted that these ideas would be better than some of their lesser originals.

And finally, the bots make a little visit to the makeup chair, and Tom can’t keep himself from hitting on the makeup artist.

All 14 episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return are currently up on Netflix. Hopefully we won’t have to wait two years for a new season!
