Later this year, CBS All Access will debut the long-awaited Star Trek: Discovery, the first new Star Trek TV series in over a decade. But the series is finally on track, and the first footage in this newly released trailer offers up a glimpse of a new breed of Klingon and the events that too place ten years before the original series.
Former Walking Dead star Sonequa Martin-Green headlines the cast of Discovery as First Officer Michael Burnham. As seen in this clip, Burnham begins the series under the command of Michelle Yeoh’s Captain Philippa Georgiou, who appears to be grooming Burnham for a ship of her own. But first they will have to survive a conflict with the Federation’s greatest enemies.
