Well, that bear was just smart enough to charge at that dude before he was able to shoot that bow and arrow at him.
Richard Wesley, a hunter from Ontario, was out and about hunting in Fire River when he spotted a black bear in the distance. The bear is just chilling and minding his own business until he notices Wesley and starts walking towards him. Now this is the moment that Wesley, who has probably already crapped his pants, begins making noises to scare the bear.
It doesn’t work. Because the bear comes charging and doesn’t stop. Have a look, as the action starts about a minute in.

“I should have shot a long time ago,” Wesley said. But then after that I have no idea what the hell he says. I think he may have had a stroke. Wesley only suffered a bruised ego during the encounter.
“Genuinely happy that this was a non fatal or tragic outcome. Proving that the black bear is a wild and unpredictable animal. Again so happy with the outcome,” Wesley adds in his description.
To which the bear replied, “this proves that idiots with bow and arrows and camo jackets from Dick’s Sporting Goods are wild and unpredictable animals.”
