Exclusive Preview | ‘All-New Guardians of the Galaxy’ # 5

The Guardians of the Galaxy are on the verge of a breakup! It’s true: within the pages of All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, the team is planning one last intergalactic score before heading out on their own. But first, they actually have to complete their plan, and that’s easier said than done.

You may have also noticed that the comic is now much closer to the Guardians team featured in the movies: So Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Baby Groot are the featured characters now. There have also been other changes, including a non-powered Nova Corps that is very much like the one seen in the MCU. And in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from All-New Guardians of the Galaxy # 5, we see that Star-Lord has managed to get himself in trouble with the All-New Nova Corps, and former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Adsit may be the only Nova member who won’t shoot him on sight!

“Star-Lord has been sailing the radio waves of the galaxy for years, keeping up with the one piece of Earth he could never quite leave behind. Guest artist Chris Samnee joins writer Gerry Duggan to check into Peter Quill’s sonic conquests!”

All-New Guardians of the Galaxy # 5 will be released this Wednesday, July 5, in comic stores everywhere.
