Comic-Con 2017 | The ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Poster Looms Large

Comic-Con 2017 is coming to a close, but before we say goodbye to all our friends, let’s appreciate that Marvel Studios had one last goody for us on the last day of the convention (which is usually pretty light on reveals). The Comic-Con poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp, painted by Andy Park, is here and it’s probably the best poster we’ve seen come out of the convention.

It’s dynamic, it illustrates the oh-so-important sense of scale, and it also gives us our first look at Hope Van Dyne as The Wasp, as she flies into the frame, reverts to normal size and kicks a guy in the face, and then shrinks and flies off again. An exciting part of a very exciting poster.

Ant-Man and the Wasp, directed by Peyton Reed, stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne. The film arrives in theaters on July 6, 2018.
