Watch the New Trailer for Stephen King’s It, And You’ll Float Too

Hey, you look like you’re having a pretty good day. So here’s a terrifying clown to ruin that. You’re welcome.

The new trailer for It, the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s beloved and terrifying saga of childhood trauma and adult consequences (with a terrifying clown in it), is heading to theaters on September 8, 2017. That’s right around the corner, and that means it’s time for one last trailer with all the coming of age imagery and horror elements they can muster, to remind people that Stranger Things was a massive knockoff of Stephen King, so if you liked that Netflix series you’re more-or-less obligated to see this movie too.

And frankly, it’s looking like that’s a winning strategy. The first It trailer earned over 30,000,000 views on YouTube, which is pretty darned good for a horror movie (or heck, ANY movie), which means that audiences are interested and are in the market for films like this one. More importantly, both the trailers for It make it look like a really good movie, full of atmosphere and character and scares, and faithful to the novel which made Stephen King’s readers go gaga in the first place.

Check it out for yourself. If you do, you’ll float too.
