Exclusive Preview Scene | ‘Turn: Washington’s Spies’ Series Finale

The American Revolution is over, but there are still battles to be fought in the final episode of AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies. Over the past four seasons, Abe Woodhall’s exploits as Samuel Culper have proven to be instrumental in the war against the British. But Abe’s greatest accomplishment may have come at the end, when he passed up a chance for vengeance on Lieutenant-Colonel John Graves Simcoe. Thanks to that sacrifice, the stage was set for a climatic battle at Yorktown.

Unfortunately for Abe, he wasn’t there to see the final victory, as he was injured during the fighting. But the defeat of the British has led to the victory, and George Washington himself has accepted the surrender of the British forces. Now, the young nation of America has to decide what kind of country it will become, and the fate of the Culper ring will be determined.

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview scene from the final episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies, Washington shares his thoughts on the importance of freedom of the press, even when it may reflect badly on him.
