Andre Young of Cincinnati had a plan: enter the Speedway gas station in Forest Park, threaten the clerk and rob the place. Well, it didn’t go so well because he ended up getting knocked out instead. And now he looks like this:

That’s right, kids, the clerk was able to knock out Young as he tried to jump across the counter. The clerk then called the police soon after.

“He’s still in here,” the clerk told a 911 dispatcher. “I had to knock him out. You need to get a trooper here now, because he’s in here, he’s in here all ****** up.”

Check out the video below.

Detectives said Young acted as if he were going to buy a can of Milwaukee’s Best beer when he revealed his true intentions. Dave Wood, with the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office, had this to say:

“The allegations are that the defendant went into a Speedway gas station, brandished a box cutter, and stated, ‘We can do this the easy way, or the hard way.’ The cashier luckily was able to defend himself and incapacitate the defendant until police showed up.”

And Young’s explanation for all this: “Man, I was drunk.” Fair enough.

Young was booked on two counts, aggravated robbery and assault. But it wasn’t the first time this dude had been in trouble with the law, as “he has five prior felony convictions for aggravated armed robbery, robbery, robbery, aggravated robbery and robbery,” according to Wood.

What a guy!
