I don’t have any kids of my own, but if I did I would want to hire the babysitter in this story because it seems like she’s not afraid to throw down with anyone who attempts to mess with her.
A Washington state woman named Kate Anderson was babysitting a one-year-old baby when she noticed that a woman was stealing a package off the home’s porch. So what did Anderson do? She ran after her as the thief tried to get into the getaway car. Unfortunately for the thief, her getaway driver got the hell out of there without her.
The incident was caught on a Ring surveillance camera and shows Anderson yelling at the thief, taking her down and making a citizen’s arrest. Check out the awesome video below.
Man, something tells me that thief and her getaway driver aren’t friends anymore.
“I continued to run and like ‘Hey, you’re not a nice person! I see you, and you’re stealing from me and when [she] was on the ground, I kind of kept her there,” Anderson told Q13 Fox. “If someone is doing something wrong, I’m not afraid to put them in check.”
The thief’s name is Rhieanna Schindler and she actually had outstanding warrants for drug possession and theft, and has been arrested more than 20 times in the last 7 years. What a classy gal.
And while Anderson’s last day working for the homeowner was this past Friday, her employer Tanka Smith had this to say about her kick ass nanny:
“Maybe we’ll just have to keep Kate as our bouncer — keeping our packages and belongings safe all the time.”
