At a time when the phrase “loot box” triggers all but the most blissfully ignorant gamers, Ubisoft has decided to add loot boxes to Ghost Recon Wildlands. It doesn’t come as a shock that the publisher is looking to make more money out of the game, but to implement loot boxes, right now? It seems like a stupid, or incredibly brave move, to me.
