Meanwhile in UFC: Fighter Devin Clark’s Mangled Teeth Are the Stuff of Dental Nightmares

The MMA world is filled with blood, sweat, and tears. Mostly blood and sweat. During any given match, you expect a bad injury or two to take place in the octagon. But a bout between Devin Clark and Ion Cutelaba during UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas last weekend ended with a gory sight.

That’s because Cutelaba knocked Clark’s lower teeth out of place. If you’ve never suffered an oral injury, you might not know how much blood flow ensues when teeth are disturbed. In short, it’s a lot of blood. And Clark’s smile was so gruesome after the fight that it’ll give you dental nightmares for who knows how long.

The 31-year-old light heavyweight posted an update to his Instagram Stories later, updating fans that his teeth had been pulled back into place (ouch) and showing off his “temporary braces.”

Yikes. The next time you think about getting into a brawl, professional or not, remember this guy’s grin and just keep on walkin’.
