New ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Movie Poster Is All You Need to Get Ready For Bustin’ This Fall (It Makes Us Feel So Good)

Ghostbusters fans may not be afraid of no ghosts, but for 30 long years, they were afraid there would never be another Ghostbusters movie. Afraid that after one of Hollywood’s most perfect popcorn flicks swept the nation in a cultural phenomenon our unlikely band of spirit hunters extraordinaire were going out on a sophomore slump in the much-maligned Ghostbusters: 2. Now that fear has been banished forever with this groovy movie poster that tickles us in a nostalgic place we thought was dead and buried.

But it’s not just the poster, which promises some heavy spirit-fueled doom from the otherworldly skies above, but the significance the poster holds. No longer are fans left clinging to fan art and hypothetical reboots that get busted faster than an ectoplasmic Slimer in the Sedgewick Hotel of our hearts. This poster is the genuine article pledging a long-awaited release date of November 19.

Happy birthday everyone.
