Kanye West Filled Hotel Suite With Clothes For Date With Julia Fox, Little Rusty on Dating and Playing It Cool

It’s fascinating that someone like Kanye West could know so much about music yet so little about dating. The 44-year-old born-again rapper is a fan of big gestures, but his latest attempt to woo a woman is downright embarrassing.

As Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox reported in a blog-style feature for Interview, Ye went above and beyond for a recent date…but not in a good way.

As Fox described it (in very elementary prose), the couple met on New Year’s Eve in Miami. They hit it off, so they flew back to New York to see Slave Play together, then had dinner at Carbone.

“At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photo shoot for me while people dined!” Fox gushed, completely unaware what a controlling narcissist Kanye is. “The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening.”

But wait! It gets worse!

“After dinner Ye had a surprise for me,” Fox continued. “I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!”

Exactly, girlfriend. Who does things like this? Weirdos, that’s who. He’s treating you like his own personal, peekaboo-thong-wearing Barbie doll. In fuck-me heels! That doesn’t strike you as incredibly creepy?

Alas, there’s no talking sense to Fox, who is way too naïve, even for a 31-year-old. She has her rose-colored glasses firmly in place regarding Yeezus, and they aren’t coming off anytime soon.

“Everything with us has been so organic,” she concluded the piece, which featured pics of her trying on clothes and making out with a snow-booted Kanye in a hallway. “I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”

Good lord (sorry for taking His name in vain, Ye), but she said the “F” word already. Let’s drop another “F” word into this conversation and hope the love affair fizzles ASAP.
