The Mandatory Kanye and Kim Good Parenting Guide to Publicly Condemning Your Child’s Social Media Use While on Social Media

Kim Kardashian just keeps surprising us. First, she filed for divorce from Kanye West, ending one of the most powerful couples the celebrity world has ever known. Then, the rumors that she was dating Pete Davidson turned out to be true. Now, she appears to be the voice of reason amidst what is becoming a very contentious divorce with Kanye.

The latest disagreement between the divorcing spouses is over social media use by their 8-year-old daughter, North, who has a TikTok account with Kim. The mother-daughter duo already has 5.8 million followers despite the content being, well, less than titillating.

But Kanye doesn’t approve of his daughter’s social media use, tame though it may be, and recently took to social media to ask people what to do about it. Though the original posts have since been deleted, anything posted on the internet lives forever.

“Since this is my first divorce I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will,” the caption read.

Kim – who has been publicly cordial and restrained so far regarding the divorce – went very mama bear on her baby daddy, taking to her Instagram Stories to respond.

“Kanye’s constant need for attacking me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she wrote in a shockingly articulate statement.

She continued: “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”

The irony of all this drama, of course, is that they’re arguing about social media use on social media. Thus, we felt it was our duty to release The Mandatory Kanye and Kim Good Parenting Guide to Publicly Condemning Your Child’s Social Media Use While on Social Media.
