Ben Affleck praised Jennifer Lopez for her incredible performance in the film “Unstoppable,” during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. The actor also talked about the movie itself. While drawing a comparison between the biopic sports film and the Cillian Murphy movie “Small Things Like These,” Affleck explained, “Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way, it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists.”

Affleck further continued by talking about the cast members of the film. He said, “Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome], and Bobby Cannavale, all were really passionate about this film.” He then went on to gush over Jennifer Lopez’s captivating acting in the movie, calling her “spectacular.” Affleck further added that they are very proud of the new film. He explained, “We believed in the right people, and ‘Unstoppable’ is another example of that.”

Actors Matt Damon and Cillian Murphy were also present during the online interview. Both Affleck and Damon have served as producers for “Unstoppable.” The film is an adaptation of the celebrated book, “Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion,” by the star wrestler Anthony Robles and author Austin Murphy.

Academy Award-winning editor and director William Goldenberg has helmed the film. It will have a limited theatrical release on December 6, before making its debut on January 16, 2025, on Prime Video.
