Russia-launched rock outfit Louna is setting their sights on the American hard-rock scene with the April 30th release of their new album, Behind A Mask, and CraveOnline’s got an exclusive video tease of what’s to come!
Fronted by lead singer Lousine “Lou” Gevorkian, Louna’s reputation extends beyond their musicality to include the focus of their personal passions as found in their lyrics and actions. They are the most commercially successful rock band of the modern protest movement (of which Pussy Riot has become the most internationally renowned). The band were winners of the 2009 “Best New Artist of the Year” Russian Alternative Music Prize (RAMP) and the 2012 “Female Vocalist of the Year” Nashe Award.
Behind a Mask was mixed by renowned producer/engineer Dan Korneff (Breaking Benjamin, My Chemical Romance, Paramore) and mastering duties were handled by the legendary Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound, New York.
Today’s promo clip is a Narnia-esque tease, where a young woman in the clip steps into a shimmering doorway. Viewers are then met with the beckoning statement “Enter a New World,” before an April 2013 promotion. Watch below.
Behind a Mask is in stores and available online April 30, 2013 via Red Decade Records and MEG/RED. Today, the band releases their new tracks “Business” and “Mama” via iTunes and Amazon – download below!
